Plans are being made to build three new townhouses on the site of a former bowling green next to the Mulberry Tree boutique hotel in Attleborough.

The Mulberry Tree's owners, Phillip and Victoria Milligan, have applied to Breckland Council for permission to build the new three-bedroom homes on the site just south of the hotel in Station Road.

The site was last used as a bowling green in summer 2012.

The application states that the owners would not develop the site themselves, but would sell it onto a prospective developer.

Initial drawings suggest the terraced townhouses would be three storey, including a loft level, and would include off-street parking.
