Three men who work for Revolución de Cuba bars are gearing up to cycle across the country to raise money for a children's hospice in Wales.

Dominic Doherty, the chain's area manager for the south, will attempt to cycle 890 miles in just eight days along with fellow team members Rob Marshall and Jon Quinn. The challenge will start on September 8 in Cardiff and aim to visit seven branches of the Latino-themed cocktail bar, stopping in Norwich, Reading, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Derby and Belfast.

The ride will raise money for Ty Hafan Children's Hospice in Penarth.

Mr Doherty said: 'Let's punish our bodies and slog around England, Wales and Ireland on bikes in a hope that some people will support our efforts and donate to Ty Hafan.' The trio are hoping to raise £11,000.
