Tribute to lorry driver killed in crash

A tribute has been paid to a “really good guy” who was killed in a road crash on Tuesday .Edwin Stearman, 62 and from East Harling, died when his 40ft lorry collided with a silver Peugeot near the Langor Bridge Garage on the A1067 at Little Ryburgh.

Edwin Stearman, 62 and from East Harling, died when his 40ft lorry collided with a silver Peugeot near the Langor Bridge Garage on the A1067 at Little Ryburgh.

Mr Stearman had worked as a lorry driver at the Bressingham depot of grain marketing company Grainfarmers for more than five years.

Jim Hotchin, director of logistics at the company, said: “He was a well-liked, highly respected and very professional member of the team. He was a good guy and it was a terribly tragic accident.

“Our thoughts are with Mr Stearman's family.”
