An online community is staging a weekend festival.

Tribe Norfolk was set up in 2016 as a community of local businesses, creatives and individuals.

It has already witnessed lots of new friendships, business collaborations and sales all inside this wonderfully supportive community.

Inspired by the county and its abundance of talent, Tribe Norfolk Weekend will be a showcase of local producers, makers, artists, foodies, businesses, musicians and wellness practioners.

It is being hosted at Happy Valley, a nine-acre campsite and woodland reserve at Grimston, near King's Lynn, over the weekend of September 22 - 23.

Tribe Norfolk founder Katy Coe said: 'I wanted to create an event that celebrated and championed an array of independent businesses from across Norfolk.

'The magical woodland backdrop of Happy Valley and glamping accommodation it offers provide a unique opportunity to broaden the weekend into a family friendly festival for all who love Norfolk. Just like I do.'

Activities planned for adults and children include yoga and pilates, wood combing walks and talks, art classes, dancing storytelling and live music.

There will also be a wellness area offering reflexology, sound therapy and massage.

Attendees can also try pottery, sewing, mosaic art, hula hooping and dance. There will also be film screenings, star gazing, face painting, forest bathing, dancing and henna art.

Traders will include jewellers, clothing, food, art, ceramics, vintage, children's clothing and accessories, beauty, and homeware.

Caterers Squilla and Squidge, the Food Dude, Pie Central, Proper Pizza Co, Juice Bar and the Travelling Bluebird will also be on site.

Abbie Panks of Creative Orchard Events said: 'We are thrilled to be working with Katy on the first Tribe Norfolk Weekend, hailing from Norfolk myself I know how much we have to celebrate and showcase in our own county.

'Happy Valley is a beautiful setting for the event, nestled in nine acres of woodland and open space, teaming with wildlife – it's impossible not to relax there.'

Weekend tickets are priced £50 adult, £30 Under-16s, under-fives free. To book e-mail hello@happyvalleynorfolk.co.uk.
