Motorists experienced delays this morning after a horse was seen walking on the A12 dual carriageway in Kessingland.
Police received a number of calls at about 8am this morning (Tuesday) after the horse was initially seen on the roundabout at the junction of the A12 close to Romany Lane.
Officers then received further calls saying the animal was on the dual carriageway.
A police spokesman said: 'Police attended and the horse was contained around 8.40am and was collected and taken to a secure paddock.
'The owner of the horse has been identified.'
