Lines on one of the region's main train routes have reopened following a fatality on the track.
Lines running between Ely and Downham Market have reopened following a fatality on the track.
Great Northern tweeted: "The emergency services have confirmed that lines can now be reopened between Ely and Downham Market."
Govia Thameslink Railway are currently advising that there will be no trains between Ely and Downham Market until approximately 5pm.
A shuttle service is running between Downham Market and King's Lynn.
British Transport Police said: "Shortly before 1.20pm today officers were called to the railway close to Littleport in Cambridgeshire following a report of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended however a person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are now working to identify the person and understand how they came to be on the tracks and lose their life."
