Autumn weather was blamed for the problems, with the company running out of trains to provide the scheduled services. The Norwich to Great Yarmouth line was shut for four days.

Passengers reacted with frustration, with 'refund' topping the list of most frequently tweeted words.

Up to 71 cancellations were made a day, so it is no surprise that the terms 'waiting', 'delayed' and 'cancelled' make up the rest of the top four with 'trainfaultbingo' propping up the list after its use by @Delayed_Again, an account for Greater Anglia complaints.
