Former Costessey High School pupil Sam Claflin stars in upcoming film My Cousin Rachel which is based on the novel by British author Daphne du Maurier.

The trailer for Sam Claflin's latest film has been released which also stars Rachel Weisz, Iain Glen and Holliday Grainger.

The film is based on the 1951 romantic novel by Daphne du Maurier and set on a large country estate on the Cornwall coast.

Claflin plays the young protagonist Philip, who falls in love with his cousin Rachel, played by Weisz, when she comes to stay after the death of her husband.

The film is set to be released in summer 2017.

Claflin was born in Ipswich and grew up in Norwich.

He attended Costessey High School and studied Performing Arts at Norwich City College.

His film credits include Me Before You, The Riot Club, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay and Snow White and the Huntsman.
