Update: Trains running again after crash at level crossing caused disruption for Norfolk passengers

Train travellers in the region faced further disruption after a car crash at a level crossing in Cambridgeshire.

The accident at the level crossing between Ely and March, just before 1pm, had suspended services, but they were up and running again just after 2.30pm.

Abellio Greater Anglia services between Ipswich and Peterborough and East Midlands services between Nottingham and Norwich had been affected.

Yesterday saw further disruption on trains, with problems on the lines between Norwich and Great Yarmouth and between Ely and Norwich.
