Update: Stranded car causing traffic chaos in Norwich is moved

Traffic was queuing to get into Norwich from the A146 Loddon Road this morning after a car got stuck at the junction for County Hall when its handbrake got jammed.

The Ford Galaxy was stranded on the Norwich-bound carriageway of the A146, holding up people trying to turn on to Martineau Lane towards County Hall.

Traffic was queuing behind the car and causing heavy congestion, also affecting traffic looking to turn off from the A47 on to the A146.

The car's handbrake was jammed on completely so people were not able to push it out of the way.

The AA arrive on the scene to recover the vehicle at 9.18am and the congestion has now cleared with the strange incident fortunately not causing any crashes to add to the trouble.
