Communters faced slow traffic after two cars crashed at the Dussindale Drive junction of Pound Lane at around 6.35am.
Pound Lane was partially blocked in both directions.
An ambulance officer attended but no one required treatment.
A fire crew from Sprowston was sent to the scene but soon stood down.
