Snow travel: Trains update and bus route changes and cancellations in Norfolk
- Credit: Archant
Bus services in Norfolk have been hit by snow today, with cancellations and revised routes announced by operators.
Anglian Buses has cancelled all services today because of the weather, while First Buses is continuing to only serve main roads in Norwich until conditions improve. Norfolk Green is operating a full service and is reporting buses running on time.
On the trains, Greater Anglia is reporting a good service with all routes open, though a small number of trains may be cancelled tonight to ensure consistent service across the network, said a spokesman.
First's services in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are continuing to operate but passengers have been told to expect delays.
The King's Lynn/X1/1 service is operating, but subject to severe delays because of the heavy snow. Services towards Lowestoft will not serve Toftwood or Fransham, and will divert via Wanton, causing delays of up to 30 minutes. Peterborough-bound buses are operating as normal, but subject to minor weather-related delays.
