Visitors to the Green Britain Centre at Swaffham will get a glimpse of the future of motoring on Monday and Tuesday as the new Tesla Model S will be available for a test-drive.

The Tesla Model S is the first premium sports saloon to be built as an electric car from the ground up.

The centre is already home to the wind-powered Greenbird, which broke the world record for wind-powered vehicles in 2009.

The Tesla Model S is 100% electric, has a range of up to 312 miles on one charge and can sprint to 60mph in 4.2 seconds.

People can register their interest and book a test-drive by visiting www.teslamotors.co.uk/events for more information or telephone 01628 450600 and press option 2.
