A flock of sheep escaped on to the A140 Ipswich Road in Tasburgh this morning - the second time in two days animals have got onto the road.
Drivers reported that the sheep were loose, close to the Hempnall crossroads in the village to the south of Norwich at about 7.30am this morning.
Police attended, but officers did not find any sheep on arrival and the road is now clear.
Police were also called to the scene at 6.30am yesterday after an open access to a field was reported.
The sheep were grazing at the side of the road when officers arrived and the owner of the field was soon tracked down.
