The railway crossing on Salhouse Road in Rackheath will be closed during the daytime on Sunday.
Twenty metres either side of the crossing will be closed, except for access, between 7am and 4pm, because of an annual crossing test.
The alternative route being suggested, for those coming from the Salhouse direction, is to turn off the C283 Salhouse Road/Norwich Road, use the C284 Honeycombe Road towards Little Plumstead to get across to the C874 Norwich Road, then use the C258 Broad Lane/Green Lane East to get back to Rackheath on the C283 Salhouse Road - or in reverse from the Norwich direction.
