A person had to be cut out of a vehicle tonight following a crash near Snetterton Circuit - which police described as 'quite serious'.

The incident took place shortly before 8.30pm in Chalk Lane, near Grange Farm, in Snetterton, causing roads to be closed.

A Norfolk police spokesman said officers were still on the scene and it appeared one vehicle was involved.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue say crews from Attleborough and East Harling attended at 8.25pm. They said one casualty was freed from a vehicle using hydraulic rescue equipment and was handed over to the care of the ambulance service.
