More than 50 keen local cyclists gathered at H A Fox Jaguar Norwich to take part in a Ride like a Pro event on Saturday sponsored by Jaguar and Team Sky.
As part of a nationwide campaign, Ride like a Pro made its return this year after a very successful set of events in 2013, and this time the event was bigger and better than before with 36 Jaguar dealerships from across the UK taking part.
The local non-competitive 66-mile ride-out started at the dealership in Cromer Road and followed a planned route round Mundesley and out along the coast, supported throughout by a Jaguar XF Sportbrake – the official support car of Team Sky cycling. The XF Sportbrake featured full Team Sky livery to add a real sense of authenticity to the occasion.
The riders who took part are now waiting to find out who will go through to the grand final, where the winners compete against winners from other regions in a driving and cycling activity. The top male and female from the final win a once-in-a-lifetime chance to ride with the team at the Team Sky training camp in Majorca next year.
