Drivers have been warned to face diversions when resurfacing work to Earlham Road begins on Monday.

The road will be closed from the junction with Convent Road to the junction of Colman Road while the work, expected to last 10 days, is carried out.

The road will be shut to through traffic, although vehicle access for people living in the street and for businesses will be maintained, although there will be no parking available when work is carried out - usually between 7.30am and 7pm.

Bus routes will be re-routed and the city council, which apologised for the inconvenience caused, urged people to contact bus companies for alternatives.
