King's Lynn Volkswagen, part of the Marriott Motor Group, officially unveils its new-look showroom at a VIP opening event on Thursday after an extensive refurbishment.

The new state-of-the-art digital showroom and service department, in Bergen Way, will be open Thursday evening for a Las Vegas-themed opening celebration with casino, showgirls, a magician, Rat Pack tribute and the chance to win an overnight stay at The Ritz in London.

The team at King's Lynn Volkswagen worked hard to make sure it was business as usual for customers while completing the programme of work.

Austin Seales, brand manager at King's Lynn Volkswagen, said: 'This is a significant investment by the Marriott Motor Group. It shows a real commitment by us to the King's Lynn business community, as well as being a significant investment in the local economy.'

The newly-designed light and airy showroom will welcome customers into a relaxing environment where they can help themselves to refreshments then sit back in the comfortable new sofas in the meet-and-greet area where staff will assess their needs before directing them to the appropriate Volkswagen expert.

The new 300 sq m showroom is now big enough to display 10 models from the Volkswagen range and also has a a dedicated handover bay.

Also included in the refurbishment is significant investment in the workshop area, including new ramps, a tyre changer, wheel balancer and state-of-the-art Volkswagen approved laser wheel alignment equipment.

There will also be new signage, improved customer parking and a dedicated E-Station charging point for electric cars.

Mr Seales added: 'Our aim was to ensure that our customers had no interruption of our services during our refurbishment and that it was business as usual from us all. Our sales and servicing receptions were operating from portable cabins on site, and I would like to thank our customers for their support and understanding during our refit.

'Both myself and my team are looking forward to welcoming our customers to the VIP opening event.'
