The winners of a reader competition, run with Infiniti Centre Norwich, enjoyed a taste of Formula 1 action with the Infiniti Red Bull Racing F1 Team at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

Competition winner Barbara Douglas gave the pair of VIP tickets to her husband, James, and son, Stephen, who watched the practice sessions from the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Paddock Club suite above the team garages with a privileged view of the pit lane and main start/finish line plus a pit lane walk to view all the teams in action.

Stephen said: 'Seeing F1 cars is always special but to get so close and get a real appreciation for the detail and intensity on the frontline of top-end racing was amazing.'

James added: 'When Barbara said she had won tickets to the F1 Grand Prix I thought she meant general admission tickets but, no, they were Paddock Club tickets and, wow, what a day. To spend the time wandering in the pit lane, seeing the cars up close and then tour around the garage, to stand beside the cars as they start up is amazing.'

In a separate competition Jennifer Kevan and James Cossey won an exclusive garage tour and dinner at the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Energy Station where they met Red Bull team principal Christian Horner.
