Norfolk Motor Group master technician Ian Flowerdew achieved third place in the Kia national technicians skills competition run across all Kia dealerships in the UK.
Had Ian managed first place he would have gone on to the European finals and then potentially the world finals in Korea. This is a noteable award and the zone and region won two of the top three places.
Grant Long, managing director of NMG which has its Kia dealership in Mile Cross Road, Norwich, said: 'Ian has done NMG and himself proud indeed; this is a skills and knowledge test and reflects Ian's passion for the work. I offer him our hearty congratulations on this achievement. It is always very satisfying when your staff commits to higher learning and achieves national recognition.'
