A full closure of Norwich bus station for repair work has been postponed for a week due to concerns about bad weather.

Passenger toilets, cafe and ticket facilities have been disrupted because of a leak in the concourse roof.

It had been hoped the problem at the station, off Queens Road and Surrey Street, would be fixed on Sunday, but this has now been pushed back until Sunday, July 8.

Norfolk County council says a full closure of the station is needed for the repairs but this requires 'reasonable weather', with the forecast 'uncertain' this weekend.

Temporary toilet facilities are available Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7pm, while National Express started operating a mobile ticket office from today.
