Emergency services called to crash at Great Plumstead

Emergency services were at the scene of a crash in Great Plumstead.

Police were called to reports of a single vehicle collision in Water Lane at around 10.45pm on Wednesday, January 27, with an ambulance crew and two fire appliances also in attendance.

Fire fighters from Carrow and Sprowston used enhanced heavy rescue equipment to release a casualty and assisted with scene safety.

Speaking at around 11.40pm, an officer in the Norfolk police control centre said that the condition of the casualty was unknown and emergency services were still on scene.

The fire service left at around 11.42pm.
