Rail services between Downham Market and Cambridge have been disrupted due to a problem with overhead cables.

A spokesperson for rail operator First Capital Connect said that engineers were on site working to resolve the issue.

The spokesperson said: 'We are still working to fix the issue and we should be able to have full service resumed this evening.

'Because of this we are running a replacement bus service between Downham Market and Cambridge.'
