A cyclist injured when he was hit from behind by a car on the A11 in Norfolk has issued High Court proceedings against the driver who caused his injuries. - Credit: ©Archant Photographic 2010

Emergency services were called to Thorpe St Andrew this morning after a car and bicycle collided near the town's Sainsbury's supermarket.

Police were called to the collision at 6.55am, to reports of a Renault Clio and a bicycle having collided in Dussindale Drive.

The male cyclist reported having a sore arm but the collision did not cause further problems.
