The A11 was blocked near Roudham Heath in Norfolk, because of a crash.
Emergency services, including police and fire crews, went to the scene of the crash, which happened just before 6pm.
The A11 was closed southbound, between the B1077 near Attleborough and the A1075 near Thetford, with diversions in place.
Two fire crews from Thetford and one crew from East Harling carried out casualty care and made vehicles and the surrounding area safe.
