All fired up for classic fun run

Broadland MG Owners' Club is running its 23rd annual heritage run for classic and vintage cars on bank holiday Monday.

Broadland MG Owners' Club is running its 23rd annual heritage run for classic and vintage cars on bank holiday Monday.

The heritage run is now firmly established in the local classic car calendar.

Monday's run will start at Hunters Hall, Swanton Morley. The first cars will leave at 9am with all cars away by 11am.

The 58-mile long route meanders along picturesque Norfolk lanes and takes in villages and hamlets such as Lyng, North Elmham, Guist, Hindolveston and Baconsthorpe.

The final destination for the cars taking part in the run is always kept a secret until the actual day.

This year's event has seen 175 classic and sports cars pre-booked on the run.
