Works to prepare a road for £278,000 of major resurfacing will begin on Monday.

Kerbing and preparatory works will take place on the A1075 at East Wretham in readiness for the resurfacing, set to begin on Sunday, July 13.

The resurfacing work will close the road in two phases, with diversions being put in place via the A11, A134 , A1065 and B1108.

The first phase will see the road close for one day on July 13, from Peddars Way to 100m north of Woodcock Road.

The second phase will close the road 100m south of the junction with Illington Road to around 100 metres north of the junction with Woodcock Road from 7pm to 7am.
