A three vehicle collision on the A146, Norwich Road, at Thurton has led to traffic tailbacks this Friday afternoon.
Police and two fire crews from Loddon and Carrow attended the scene at 4.15pm following reports of a collision between a Mini-Cooper, Toyota and a white van.
An ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle from the East of England Ambulance Service also attended to treat patients for minor injuries.
It is not known how many people were involved in the collision but an ambulance spokesman has described the patients as 'walking wounded'.
The southbound lane of the A146 is currently closed with delays in both directions after the incident described by a police spokesman as being 2 and ¼ miles from Bergh-Apton.
