Drivers are reporting 'traffic chaos' when a set of traffic lights failed because of a power cut.
The set of lights in Gorleston High Street are out.
A driver, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that there was 'traffic chaos' in the area as a result. A spokesman for Norfolk County Council said they were made aware at 1.10pm and an engineer was alerted. The police are also aware.
A power cut was reported to UK Power Networks at about 12.44pm with an estimated time for power to be restored between 2.30-3.30pm.
The reason for the power cut is an underground electricity cable has faulted on the high voltage network, causing an area wide power cut.
