Great Yarmouth and King's Lynn have missed out on a piece of Monopoly action.

The two towns lost out to Colchester in a public vote to choose a town to have its own customised board.

Monopoly chiefs had originally shortlisted 10 East Anglian locations and a final six were put to a public vote.

The breakdown of the voting was Colchester 48.3pc, Great Yarmouth 20.9pc, King's Lynn 14.2pc, Newmarket 7.4pc, Bury St Edmunds 6pc and Sudbury 3.2pc. The board will see the 22 original Monopoly locations – from Old Kent Road to Mayfair – take on a Colchester feel.
