New Lego sets have arrived at a library in Thorpe St Andrew thanks to a donation from the town council.
The Lego club at St Williams Way Library was given £100 by Thorpe St Andrew Town Council to purchase the items.
Town mayor councillor Ian Mackie said: 'Libraries are at the heart of our community and deliver so many more services than just traditional book lending. 'We have a thriving library, and the Lego Club is just one-way residents are making use of the variety of services available for all ages.'
Community librarian Joanne Foster-Murdoch said: 'The Lego club runs after school on a Tuesday for children aged eight and over. Since starting in September 2017, we have had up to 12 children attend each time. The sessions offer Lego challenges as well as free-play. We do all sorts of fun and exciting design and builds'.
The library also offers Bounce Rhyme baby classes fortnightly on a Friday between 10.30am and 11am
