Three-year-old hurt in Gorleston hospital car park crash

Officers from Acle road traffic police are appealing for witnesses to a serious accident in the main car park of the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston yesterday afternoon which left a child with serious injuries.

At about 4.30pm, in the north west corner of the car park close to the exit barrier, a collision took place between a small silver Fiat and a child pedestrian.

The three-year-old local boy received serious torso and leg injuries and is in a serious condition in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
