Three-year-old girl injured in road traffic collision in Melton Constable

A three-year-old girl has been taken to hospital following road traffic collision today.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were alerted to Briston Road, Melton Constable, near Fakenham, at 3pm.

An ambulance, a rapid response car, a duty officer and the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) attended the scene.

Spokesman Gary Sanderson said: 'The young girl was slightly injured and following treatment by land and air crews, she was taken by ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for further care.'
