Three vehicles have crashed on Reepham Road near the Drayton Lane junction.
Drivers heading home faced delays due to Reepham Road being blocked in both directions.
Police tried to clear the road as quickly as possible.
Emergency services were called at 4.40pm.
It is believed that no one was seriously injured.
