Three people were rescued by firefighters after a vehicle rolled over on the A140 near Dunston this morning.

They were treated for minor injuries by ambulance crews but not taken to hospital.

Fire crews from Carrow, Earlham and Sprowston were called to the collision at 5.09am. They helped the three people to escape the car using hydraulic rescue equipment.

Paramedics attended a second incident on the A140 at Dunston, close to the junction with Mangreen, at 8.40am.

A woman was treated for shock at the scene after her car left the road.
