Thousands of pounds worth of damage caused at Caister school

Police are appealing for witnesses after thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused at a school in Caister.

The incident happened at the John Grant School between 2.00pm on Sunday, December 27 December 2015 and 7.30am on Tuesday, December 29. Four mini-busses parked within the school grounds were damaged and a storage shed was also broken into.

It is believed around £4,000 worth of damage was caused.

A police spokesperson said, 'This is a senseless crime which not only affects the school and its pupils but has a significant impact on the greater community. If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious during the crime times please contact Norfolk Police on 101.'
