More than 5,000 mammals and birds are calling Costessey their home over the two days of the Norfolk Show.
More than 3,000 creatures from falcons to ferrets, and from cows to cockroaches, are delighting the crowds.
And over 2,000 horses are also performing in the equine events across the two days from show jumping to hunting.
Tortoises may not be a reptile native to Norfolk, but Alfie the Solcata tortoise drew crowds to the Norfolk Tortoise Club stand.
Volunteer, Mini Newton, said: 'We've brought our baby tortoise Alfie along today, he's 9-years-old and weighs about 10 kilograms, but given the fact he can live to about 100, he's still considered a baby.'
And for every visitor, there seemed to be a pet dog to match, from four-legged friends of the Mid-Norfolk Gun Dog society, to the Norfolk Training Society.
