Five-year-old Collie cross Rex is looking for a new place to call home and is hoping his saving grace might be around the corner.

Kate Brewster, Dogs Trust Snetterton supporter relations officer, said: 'Rex is an adorable boy who can be a bit timid on first meeting but with a bit of time, TLC and some treats he'll soon be won over.

'Having arrived at the centre towards the end of last year, Rex is looking for an experienced home that can allow him the time to be a proper dog. He is carrying a bit of extra weight at the moment, so would appreciate a home that can be considerate of this and help him find his thinner self.

'A fan of human and canine company, Rex would ideally like to live with a fellow four-legged friend who can help build his confidence and show him the ropes of his new home.

'This cuddly bear is looking for a new family who will spend time with him to help him settle in and there's no doubt that in the right home Rex will be an extremely rewarding and loyal friend.'
