An amateur dramatic is urging people to snap up tickets for its upcoming pantomime and take a trip to Neverland.

Thetford Players are back in January with their production of Peter Pan - A Pantomime Adventure, with tickets on sale now.

The show takes the audience on a fun-packed journey from Edwardian London to magical Neverland with Peter Pan (Charlie Jeffries) to meet Tiger Lily (Abbey Walters) and Pan's arch-nemesis, Captain Hook (Lyndon Redpath).

Tim Lovejoy returns as Nanny Nora - with a taste for the odd tipple - while Elizabeth Wright plays Wendy.

Joshua Plumley and Jack Jenkins appear in their first Players' show as John and Michael, respectively.

The cast is busy rehearsing for the shows, with six performances from January 15 to 23.

Caroline Foot, director, said: 'We have lots of new faces in the cast this year, as well as some more familiar ones. They have all been working very hard and everything is starting to come together, ready for an amazing show in the New Year.

'I love that we have our pantomime in January. It gives everyone something to look forward to after the excitement of the festive period. And of course tickets make great Christmas presents too.'

Stepping Stones Training Academy and Technique Hair are returning to provide their make-up and hair talents.

Local schools will also be taking part in a colouring competition sponsored by Shadwell, with the chance to win tickets to a show.
