Singers searching for fame and fortune will have the chance to audition for The X-Factor in Norwich city centre tomorrow.

This year the ITV1 superstar search is taking a mobile audition van to towns and cities that The X Factor arena auditions tour does not reach – and the van will visit The Forum in Norwich from 10.30am.

An X Factor spokesman said that people can just turn up on the day and do not need to register in advance.

The auditions will be in front of members of the show's production team.

People must be 16 or over to audition, and this year people can enter whether they are an amateur artist, have had a management deal in the past, or have one now.

In order to audition you must arrive at The Forum before 3pm unless you are in full-time education.

Students in full-time education must arrive by 4.15pm but must bring proof of age.
