The Medaille Trust
An anti-trafficking charity has appointed a new East Anglian representative.
Jacinta Goode from St George’s Catholic Parish in Norwich joined The Medaille Trust team in March and will work on behalf of victims of human trafficking and modern slavery.
The charity, founded by a group of religious congregations in 2006, now has nine safe houses and 109 bed spaces across England.
Ms Goode said: “I have joined the Medaille Trust at an exciting time and we are the largest provider of this kind of support in the UK.
“Sadly, there are more victims being identified than ever, but the charity is responding to the demands.”
Ms Goode is available to give talks to parish groups or others with an interest in supporting The Medaille Trust.
