Many children are already queuing up to see santa to tell him what is on their wish list for Christmas.

But this weekend an event will cater for other family members who are also eager to see Father Christmas and put in a request for some festive treats.

The Forum, in Norwich, is once again holding its popular Santa's Grotto for Dogs on Saturday, December 9, between 10am and 4pm.

Visitors can bring their pets to meet Santa Woof Woof - Father Christmas' representative in the canine world - and take a free 'pawtrait' to share with friends and family.

Organisers promise that this year's grotto is better than ever and features a new festive design, with owners and dogs encouraged to join in the fun and come in festive fancy dress.

The free event is run with RSPCA Norwich and Mid Norfolk. Visitors are encouraged to donate to the charity on the day.

Santa's Grotto for Dogs is also supported by Pets as Therapy who work with dogs and their owners to help others.

A pet behaviourist from Companion Care vets will also be on hand to give advice.

The event complements a wide range of activities at The Forum over the weekend, which includes a UniK Design craft market and the Big C's 2017 Christmas Carols programme.

The Brick Wonders exhibition of Lego also continues.
