Visitors from around the globe roll up for church circus convention

The Fly High Circus Convention was held in St Michael Coslany Church on Oak St by the Oak Circus Centre.

Classes taught by coaches from all over the world included trapeze and Chinese pole, as well as a new Circus Symposium, debating 250 years of circus.

Massimiliano Rosetti, circus director, said on Saturday: 'Today is an exciting day. Inside here there are all sorts of things happening, there are 19 different disciplines of circus being taught, there are 50 people here today, all from international backgrounds.

'Some are all the way from Israel, America, Mexico, they are all here to enjoy this for the third year.'

Blue Copeland, 24, from Norwich, said: 'I did last year, and I've attended all the classes this year. I've just passed an audition for a circus school in Madrid!'
