The Crown pub in Fakenham has completed extensive renovation work with the opening of a new Italian restaurant.
The restaurant, called Bella Corona, has been designed almost entirely by owner Alie Hannam who built it around the theme of rustic Italian, while also retaining the pub's heritage.
Ms Hannam said: 'On two walls we've put up big wall wraps that are floor to ceiling images of The Crown at different stages in time. One of them shows how the pub looked as far back as 1908.'
The restaurant serves a range of traditional Italian meals such as homemade pizzas, pastas and meatballs, as well as gourmet burgers. The restaurant's bar continues the Italian theme by serving Italian bottled beers, wines and prosecco.
'I always thought Fakenham could do with an Italian restaurant and I love Italian food,' added Ms Hannam. 'So far it has been brilliant and it's going really well.'
