Norwich is known as the city of pubs but in recent years nearly 30 have been forced to call last orders and shut their doors. This week two more city pubs have been up for sale - the 130 year old Quebec Tavern, in Quebec Road, and The Forge, in Philadelphia Lane which are available for sale online.
The properties are listed on property site Rightmove for around £250,000 each.
The Quebec has became listed after the pub was closed for some time as previous landlords Felix and Lisa Snell walked out in protest against rent increases, before moving on to run the Windmill in Knox Road, Norwich.
A holding company has installed a temporary manager to take on the lease until a buyer can be found.
Husband and wife John and Amanda Barber had taken over The Forge in 2011 with the hope of turning it into an old fashioned back street pub.
Before taking it on, the couple managed the Bell in Brandon, near Thetford, for about five months, but before that neither had any experience of running a pub.
But it is now run by Hanser Inns who have a lease with the pub.
In total, in the past 10 years 27 pubs have closed with many being turned into housing.
The news of more pubs being put up for sale comes as the The Prince of Denmark Pub, on Sprowston Road was forced to close this week and The Lakenham Cock in Long John Hill has been put forward to Norwich City Council for housing.
Speaking four days ago regarding the closure of the Prince of Denmark Neil Bowers, pub protection officer and the Norwich and Norfolk branch of CAMRA, said: 'It is a shame because it is another pub going, unfortunately.
'This is another nail in the pub industry coffin with another pub that unfortunately has closed. We always mourn the loss of a pub, regardless of what type of pub it is.'
