Teams of six people are invited to enter a charity Halloween-themed quiz night at the Furzedown Hotel, in North Drive, Great Yarmouth, on Tuesday, October 31, at 7pm.

The Mayor's Halloween Quiz is in aid of the charities Kerry Robinson-Payne has chosen to support during her special year, Heart 2 Heart Norfolk, the Cinnamon Trust and Palliative Care East, the charity behind the Louise Hamilton Centre.

She said: 'Quiz nights are always popular and I thought that a Halloween-themed quiz night would be a fun and slightly different way of supporting these great causes. As this is taking place on Halloween itself, I am hoping that some people will come in fancy dress – but I'm hoping we don't get trick-or-treated.'

Booking in advance is essential, £10 per person, which includes a bangers and mash supper. Book by emailing laura.goodman@great-yarmouth.gov.uk or calling 01493 846125.
