Cromer lifeboat was out for 10 hours yesterday after being launched to help an offshore worker with a medical problem.
The boat launched at about 11am and headed to a rig support ship at the Sean gas field, 58 miles off the coast.
A casualty with a leg problem was transferred to the lifeboat at lunchtime and then taken to Gorleston, and then on to the James Paget University Hospital. The boat returned to base and was rehoused by 9pm.
