Ten fire crews tackle two storey house fire in Lound

EMERGENCY services tackled a blazing inferno in Lound last night after a two storey building caught on fire.

Ten Suffolk and Norfolk fire and rescue crews and four officers attended the large house fire shortly after 8.30pm.

The building, approximately 20 metres by 25 metres in size, and its first floor and roof were both fully involved in the fire. Salvage was under way on the ground floor around 9.30pm.
