Temperatures dropped below freezing levels in some parts of the region overnight, but forecasters warn it will get colder tonight.
Today's weather is expected to contain some showers of rain and sleet ahead of a cold night.
The lowest recorded temperature in the region last night was at Santon Downham, near the Norfolk/Suffolk border, where the temperature dipped to -1 Celsius.
But that number will drop further tonight, with forecasters Weatherquest warning temperatures could be around -5 this evening and night.
That could cause 'freezing-fog' which will create difficult driving conditions.
Yesterday the Met Office has released a yellow warning of snow and ice in East Anglia.
Coastal areas will experience a mix of sleet and hail until around midday.
